Housing Support Worker


NJC Scale Point 12 (£28,598)

Full time - 35 hours per week - Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity to join Leeds Irish Health & Homes (LIHH) as part of our 

Housing Support Service. You will work with vulnerable adults living in supported tenancies, 

helping them maintain their accommodation, develop independent living skills, and achieve 

their personal goals. 


The role combines practical housing management with person-centred support, working 

closely with partner agencies to ensure tenants receive a coordinated and responsive 

service. You will play a key part in promoting wellbeing, independence, and inclusion within 

our community.


We require you to:


• Support a caseload of tenants through one-to-one housing-related support

• Assess needs, develop support plans, and complete regular reviews

• Liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies to coordinate support

• Assist tenants with maintaining their accommodation and accessing welfare benefits

We need you to have:

• Experience supporting vulnerable people

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to build trusting and professional relationships

• Good organisational skills and flexibility

• Commitment to reducing health inequalities and promoting diversity
