GET INVOLVED
Make a donation
If you’re in a position to do so, please join our community of donors with a gift that will transform more lives for years to come.
Right across our Leeds Irish community, people are facing devastating diagnoses and demanding caring responsibilities, as well as unemployment, loneliness, financial hardship and trauma. The hard reality is that our funding is decreasing while costs - and levels of need - are rising.
If 100 members of our community gave £10 a month, it could fund one of our weekly Lunch Clubs for an entire year, freeing up vital funds for more lifeline work and helping secure our future.
But any gift - big or small, whether a one-off or regular donation - is appreciated.
See what else your gift could do:
£4 buys a box of teabags for our social groups
£6 covers someone’s transport to and from one of our Lunch Clubs
£15 buys emergency groceries for someone experiencing financial hardship
£30 pays for an elderly person’s electricity for two weeks
£75 hires a community centre, meaning we can host a Lunch Club for 40 people, providing a nutritious meal and reducing isolation
£100 pays for a day out to the coast with lunch and an ice cream for three isolated community members

Volunteer
Do you have a few hours to spare a week or a skill that could be put to good use? Our volunteers offer lifts to Lunch Clubs, make perfect cuppas and even do hand massages and manicures (yes, really!) so that our community members feel special and cared for.
From our weekly groups and Lunch Clubs to seasonal big events like our Tea Dances and St Patrick’s Day celebrations, there are so many opportunities to get involved and give something back.
In return, we offer a full induction, all expenses reimbursed and specialist training (if you want it). You’ll also gain valuable experience and build connections and friendships. Interested? Send us a message.

We’ve produced several Irish Times-featured poetry anthologies with acclaimed poet Ian Duhig.
