We are looking to recruit an Irish Community Support Worker to join our Community Support Service.
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Responsible to: Senior Support Worker
Grade: SCP 12-17
Salary: Starting salary £26,421 per annum
Status: Permanent
Pension: Employer contribution of 6%; employee contribution starts at 3% minimum
Holidays: 25 days per annum rising to 29 days after 5 years’ service, plus 8

The Irish Community Support Service provides a wide range of service responses to those most in need in our community, including the elderly, those experiencing physical and mental health challenges, financial pressures, substance misuse issues, homelessness and social and cultural isolation. Our service also extends to Irish people, people of Irish Heritage and non-Irish people in the community.
We require you to:
Work as part of the Irish Community Support Team in the delivery of services including managing a caseload and facilitation of groups and activities.
Provide client focussed work to empower individuals to engage with services and activities to improve their wellbeing.
Be responsible for collating information to meet monitoring and evaluation requirements.
We need you to have:
An outstanding attitude and track record in supporting vulnerable people.
A passion for community development work.
Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills.
